Recently married to Dr. Christine, Dr. Howard Chu is born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Howard Chu attended the Ivy League institution, Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he was chosen by his classmates to serve as the Class President for four years. After obtaining his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Harvard, he decided to move back to the west coast and completed his orthodontic specialty training from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Section of Orthodontics. Recognized for his clinical skill, integrity, and leadership abilities, he was selected by his colleagues and faculty to serve as chief resident of the program. During residency, Dr. Chu led and taught many pre-doctoral classes and published research papers on finite element analysis for orthodontic tooth movement. While obtaining his doctorate, he managed to earn a Masters degree in Oral Biology from UCLA as well.
As a Board-certified orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Chu loves giving patients new confidence with their amazing new smiles. Dr. Chu is a Certified Invisalign® Provider and practices traditional braces as well. Dr. Chu enjoys working with patients of all ages and welcomes you to come in for a complimentary consult.
In his free time, Dr. Chu enjoys crossfitting, cycling, and traveling with his wife, Dr. Christine.
